Writers Wanted at AutoImmuneMom. com (rate: $25 per article)

Post date: 14 February 2012
AutoimmuneMom.com is seeking writers and experts to cover autoimmune disorders, especially those that develop during or after pregnancy. Topics will include endocrine issues (particularly thyroid and glycemic), skin disorders, and the ways autoimmune issues not only affect well-being during pregnancy, but can also develop into chronic conditions. Our goal is to provide practical management tips for autoimmune sufferers.

We are looking for real experts who can engage a consumer reader and provide answers to all manner of random questions. Personal or professional experience with pregnancy, post-natal recovery, and parenting while sorting out an autoimmune condition is preferred. Articles should be informative and instructional, and most will average 300-400 words.

About the Position

As an AutoimmuneMom writer, you will focus on highly relevant, actionable content that moms can use to try new strategies or work with their doctor to experiment with what makes them feel better. We’ll provide a list of titles each week (2-10) and you claim the ones you would like to complete. We pay a flat rate per article, $25 per article. Payments are sent twice a week via PayPal for all approved articles. There is no minimum number of articles you are required to write.

You must meet one of the following criteria:

- Direct personal or professional experience in autoimmune, pregnancy, or parenting
- Prior experience writing about managing autoimmune symptoms/conditions during pregnancy and afterward as a parent
- Degree or certificate (completed or working toward completion) related to women’s health, endocrinology, dermatology, complimentary/alternative medicine (CAM), and/or family therapy
